Mic Doesn't Work In-Game (PS4) Support. I have the Hyper X Cloud 2 headset which works perfectly fine in the ps4 party chat. I can hear and talk to all my friends, but when I switch over to in-game chat, it doesn't work. I've checked all the audio settings for PS4 and COD and they're all set to work (from what I've read online). When I go to test the audio (by holding L3) it works, but it.
What I do is Enter party chat, enter party, then go to Remote play (DO NOT CONNECT REMOTE PLAY, but click settings, and the top option, something connect to diff Ps4 or something). And it should work, sometimes it ask to register your ps vita, do this and then repeat. If doesn't work. restart ps4 and ps vita, and should work. A little of a hassle when first doing this.
So I just got a vantage 2 controller and have been spending the whole evening getting it to work on my PC. I finally got the buttons mapped and working and then found out I can't talk into my mic in-game (apex legends) when using the controller. My headset is a corsair void pro.
The best PS4 wireless headset we've tested so far is the SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless. Not only do these wireless headphones have outstanding sound and mic quality, but they're remarkably feature-packed. They support Bluetooth, use a unique dual-battery system, and come with an excellent wireless base station transmitter that has tons of.
The 7.1 virtual surround sound doesn’t work on PS4, though. So you’re stuck with stereo mode. But even so, the sound quality is impressive and definitely worth every penny. Another feature that won’t be available for PS4 owners is the ability to customize using the Razer Synapse. Both aren’t really huge deal-breakers, especially the latter.
Check in the audio devices that your headset mic is the default system mic. The PS4 controller is likely hijacking it. In discord i changed it from wireless controller to my mic still wont work. I tried this before posting. I'm not saying in discord, I'm talking at the OS level, near your system clock.
Recently, I bought a new gaming headset but when I plug it into the laptop, it doesn’t recognize that I have plugged in a headset (when I go to “manage audio devices” it doesn’t say that there are any other devices). I can hear through the headset perfectly fine but when I try to use the mic, it automatically defaults to the laptop’s mic. I’ve tried using this headset on my phone.
Note: For PS4, this gaming headset can only plugged into the PS4 console, not PS4 controller. Note: This headset can't be used on Xbox One One key mute function: Want to say goodbye to intricate control type adjustment?
